Touristic information
La Línea de la Concepción is a village in the south of the province of Cadiz. It belongs to the Campo de Gibraltar region since it sits on the sandy isthmus that links the Rock of Gibraltar with the coast, on the east flank of the Bay of Algeciras, between Sierra Carbonera and the Rock.
One of its main touristic attractiveness is its beaches: La Alcaidesa, El Burgo, La Hacienda, La Atunara, and especially the Poniente one. In any of them, you can practice any type of water sport, such us sailing, water skiing, windsurfing or sport fishing.The Alcornocales Natural Park is very close to the city.
Regarding the museum offer, we can distinguish: Cruz Herrera Museum, the Isthmus Museum, with archeological funds and Pepe Cabrera Municipal Bullfighting Museum, one of the most important of its kind in Spain. Its tipical seafood cuisine is of great quality, becoming a place of reference to taste delicious recipes and tapas.
