Touristic information
Alhaurín de la Torre is 18 Km far from Málaga city centre, within the Valley of Guadalhorce River and the Metropolitan Area of Málaga, it is also located between Sierra of Mijas and Málaga Depression, and it is crossed by the Guadalhorce River. It is the most inhabited village of the Guadalhorce region and the second of the interior ones of the province.
Alhaurín de la Torre was always a privileged place. History is full of chronicles that draw its attention to the magnificent location and the good climate of these lands.
The most representative monuments of this city are: Arcos de Zapata, Albaicín Caves and Torrijos Refuge House. It also has many green areas, highlighting Finca del Patrón, which has a large vegetation and space, where musical, dance and plastic arts events take place, also the Bienquerido Oriental Garden, which is dedicated to the Japanese people.
